Delete your Scanly account

You can delete your account here or in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account). Deleting your account permanently removes from our servers:
- your account details (name, email address and sign-in provider ID),
- every document, page image and recognized text backed up to it,
- all your signed-in sessions, and Scanly's access to your Apple ID if you used Sign in with Apple.
It happens immediately. Copies in our server backups are removed within 30 days. Scans stored on your devices are not affected. If you never signed in, there is no account: your scans exist only on your device.
1. Sign in to confirm it's your account
Use the same sign-in you use in the app. This only confirms who you are.
